House Scrabble Competition Results
This was a really keenly fought competition which was battled out over 3 rounds.
Day 1 saw students from Years 7-9 representing their Houses. This was an interesting competition as 2 of the players had never played Scrabble before and, therefore, had to pick up the rules as they went along.
Kallie Horn proved to be too good for her opponents and steamed her way to victory.
Year 7-9 Results
1st : Kallie Horn : Phoenix (1 point)
2nd : Bradley Hawdon : Viking (2 points)
3rd : Richard Ezewulu : Braveheart (3 points)
4th : Arun Bains : Griffin (4 points)
Day 2 of the competition saw a near capacity crowd in C2.03 to witness the battle between House Staff.
Mr Danks, Mr Holmes, Mr Shaw and Ms Stonebanks were excellent representatives for their respective Houses and there was a great deal of tension (and some slightly unsportsman-like behaviour) before final positions were decided.
