House Basketball Competition
Our PE department have been busy organising the House Basketball Competition at lunchtimes.
Last week saw Year 7 boys and girls competing and this week it is the turn of students in Year 8 to show their sporting prowess. As we move closer to Christmas there will be tournaments for Year 9, Year 10 and Year 11 before we conclude with what is sure to be a magnificent showdown between House teams made up of Sixth Form students and staff.
Here are some images from recent games. The eagle-eyed amongst you will spot a range of super heroes spectating and giving advice to Year 7 students whose match took place on BBC Children In Need day. We would like to thank Hulk Hogan, Batgirl, Mrs Incredible, Wonder Woman and Superman in particular for taking a break from saving the world to support our students!

Year 8 Parents' Evening Competition
Thanks to all those parents and carers who were able to attend the Year 8 Parents' Evening on Tuesday 18th November.
We appreciate that it is not always easy to juggle home and work commitments in order to be present at events such as this. The opportunity to come in and talk to your child's teachers is, however, vital in order to ensure that we work together to ensure the best possible progress for every student.
